Bada Bing Bail Bonds offers services to the Criminal Defense Attorney that are unmatched by any bail bondsman in Houston.
We take the common sense approach to bail, “treat people in the same fashion that you would want others to treat you”.
We make Houston Bail Bonds available to practically anyone.
All bail bond companies advertise easy payment arrangements. We offer the best payment arrangements.
All bail bond companies advertise lower fees. We offer the lowest fees.
All bail bond companies advertise courteous prompt service. We do not have any employees, so anytime anyone calls they are speaking directly to the decision maker, and the person that cares if our customer refers others to our company in the future.
Our policy is to always be more than fair in all of our dealings with our customers.
Bada Bing Bail Bonds is operated by two brothers; Jeffrie Meyer is the owner and Jack Meyer is the office manager. We have a home/office environment in the Houston Heights; we live here.
We have no advertising expense, no lease, no employees, and no expensive overhead expenditures. Expenditures such as these are a huge concern for bail bondsman and dictate how they run their day to day business. Because we do not have this kind of overhead or any employees, we have the opportunity to offer a personal service and make bail affordable according to the individual need.
While many of our customers have the ability to pay the full fee, most do not.
When payments arrangements are needed we charge a (10%) fee with a minimum of (5%) of the actual bond amount as down payment for bonds $2000.00 to $30,000.00. This is standard for most bail bondsman. However, payments are then decided by our customers with a minimum required payment of $25.00 per week, and this is something our customers cannot find available anywhere else. In fact when payment arrangements are needed the majority if not all other bail bond companies charge extra for this service and require substantial payments, reducing the debt very quickly. While this would obviously be the preferred method of reducing the debt by anyone in business, the fact that people agree to do things they truly can’t afford to do in stressful situations never turns out well, and then problems present themselves for the bonding company, for the customer, and in many cases for the attorney.
Problems that can come up are avoided entirely by doing business with our company.
We have a great many customers who pay what is affordable for them. Our customers never receive threatening phone calls from us for any reason. From time to time a customer will miss payments. Our feeling is that if they have missed payments then obviously they are experiencing some financial difficulties. The referrals we receive from our customers always make up for any shortages.
For customers who choose to pay the full bail bond fee we offer prices lower than 10% for bonds $2000.00 to $100,000.00.
We retain our clientele for obvious reasons, and once they have done business with us they do in fact refer everyone they know when the need arises.
We rarely surrender a defendant’s bail bond. Because of the drug screening policies of the courts in Harris County, and the fact that Judges do raise bail bonds if they so desire the possibility of a defendants bond being jeopardized always exists. These policies along with all the other possibilities that exists. put the defendant’s bond in jeopardy quite often. Under circumstances such as these the family always finds that we give full credit for any fees already paid and will continue to make payment arrangements available. Any attorney that has practiced criminal law for any length of time has experienced an unfavorable outcome concerning a bail bondsman when situations like these present themselves; our policy is a very simple one, if someone pays our company in good faith to get someone out of jail, we stay on the bond.
The fact that a customer is always speaking with the decision maker when they contact our office eliminates the possibility of a miscommunication. Because most bail bond companies do have employees that are dependant upon management for a final decision, and because new employees learn on the job, miscommunication does happen quite often. In 28 years of helping families get loved ones out of jail I can honestly say that a week has never gone by without having a discussion with a customer about how they had or have had a bad experience because they were told arrangements for bail were possible, only to discover that everything changed after they arrived at the bail bond company. In many cases the family tendered money in good faith expecting to obtain the release of a loved one, and only after enough time had gone by for them to begin to wonder why their loved one had not been released from jail, did they then contact the bonding company to discover that a bail bond had not been posted and there would be additional requirements in order to obtain the release. In some cases the family was then unable to receive a timely refund in order to try and make arrangements with another bail bond company and their loved had to sit in jail. In some cases they did not receive a refund for several days. This is never a concern with our company, we do what we say we are going to do, and if a refund is due for any reason it is done so immediately.
To be clear we are not suggesting that other bail bond companies have a habit of taking advantage of their customers in any fashion. The majority of bail bond companies are as concerned as we are with the satisfaction of their customers. However, like any business, especially when the owner of a company is dependant upon employees to operate their company, things do go wrong, and some companies simply have operational practices that are better than others.
Our policy toward a defendant checking in with our office on a weekly basis is very liberal. Again, we do not make threatening phone calls for any reason.
We are available if needed to appear in court for testimony for bond reduction.
We are always available to make a court appearance to transfer a bail bond in the event of re-indictment and never refuse to do so, with the exception of the bail amount being raised where financial arrangements must be made in order to remain on the bond liability.
We are diligent in our efforts to obtain information necessary to make bail. When we receive a call from an attorney who believes a warrant of arrest is imminent for a client, we check daily and contact the defendant daily to give updates.
We have the smallest office in Houston, so we do not have bail bond runners. We prefer not to run bail bonds to the jail. However, if an attorney requests, we will take the bond to the jail for the family every time, 100% of the time.
We operate on a cash basis. This again simply eliminates the possibility of problems. I have experienced on many occasions problems with credit card and check companies that receive payment for their service but do not honor the merchant. If the possibility for a problem to exist is eliminated then the problem is eliminated. We have never experienced a problem or had a problem exist for a customer with cash payment.
We offer a more responsive, affordable, efficient, courteous, and caring service than anyone.
